Im testing today:) Ive been knitting trying to do a sample scarf:) Ive been knitting, purling and doing some seed stitch. So far Ive done everything ok but I get messed up when I go to add a different color yarn. Oh well practice makes perfect they tell me. Have a great day and Ill chat with you later.

Hi all, Ive just taken up knitting. I thought I could never knit but I was persistent and now I just finished making my very first sock:) Now I need to make the second one to it:) lol Ill try and take pics when I get done to show you all.
I did just complete my American Flag Afghan. I went by the pattern and the pattern was all wrong with how the stripes went. I should have started with red but instead I started with white. But I like it anywasy

Every day things

Ive been away for sometimes with being busy, Ive been crocheting up a storm for HookNGrannies. We are making baby afghans for Ft. Bragg NC and we are having a blast.

  I took my first knitting class this past Saturday. I knit as tight as I crochet. I hope I can do this it looks like fun. Im going back next month for another class.

Well, Im in the process of making military hats for the troops now. They have to be done in black. I really dislike crocheting with black yarn. I hope I can get a least two finished. Wish me luck!!

Daily Living

Well Hi there:) Ive been so busy I forgot to add to my site:( Ive been busy working on my HooksnGrannies SisterGhan. We had to make 30 squares, 2 for each person. I really enjoyed making them. I used a book called 99 Granny Squares. It was such great fun. I made many different squares. I think Ill make myself an extra afghan I was thinking about a Christmas ghan. What do you think?

  We had a great Halloween. The grandkids came by and they were so cute. I made them all a little baggie of candy. They really liked it all.

Im in the pracess of making Demise Pouches for Madigan Hospital. They are a bit challenging but they are turning out ok.

My mom and me are off to a craft festival here in Vegas. Ill write and let you know how it goes. Have a great day:)

Daily life

  Well, Hi there :) I havent been around much I know. Ive been busy with physical therapy nad then classes in needlepoint and beading the rest of the days. This coming Tuesday I have jury duty. I really like the process of it all. Its very fasinating.

  As I said I have been taking needlpoint classes. I finished my first sampler. It turned out great. Im thinking of taking it down and getting it finished by turning into a throw pillow. I like that idea better than a wall hanging. 

  Im also continuing making preemie hats for the challenge on Hook n Grannies. Ive only made about 30 so far I want to make around 50:) They are so easy to do. I just love Rhondas pattern.

  Well, its late here and I should be getting ready for bed. Ill be back later and tell you more about my life here in Vegas.

Challenge for baby Hats

  Well, Im going to be busy this winter. The group I belong to called HooksNGrannies is having a challenge for over 500 baby hats to be made by the end of the year. Ill send a pic as soon as I get one made.

  Other than that Ive been keeping busy just doing exchange squares on my  other two groups on yahoo. Ive really been doing alot of crocheting by making 12 inch squares. I really wish I could find a lot more patterns. But Ill keep trying.

  Well, I need to get my bathing suit on and get into my pool. Ive yet to be in it this summer. Its just been too hot to even go outside. And hubby is upset that Ive  yet to swim in the pool this summer. Heres hopin!
